Blog Roll

Will and Abbie = If I ever knew a couple who started to make us feel like we were at home when we made the leap of faith to move up to Houston, it was Will and Abbie. They made a similar move from Corpus to League City, Texas and live about 40 minutes away from us. We get to see them about once a month, and we are sad to say that is never enough.
Melany and Charokee = Our great friends, the Molina’s, are world travelers. I’ve been so amazed too see their travels all over Europe during Charokee’s tour of duty with the military. They have awesome photos and even better story about about how God brought together two friends from middle school to be such an amazing Godly Couple.
Travis Cardwell = If ever there was a good friend of mine that I could definitely see God working through, it would be Travis. His thoughts and sermons bring me back to the core of my Christian faith. He recently started a church in Sugar Land, Texas with a dear friend of his that looks like a studly church. Travis was also our minister in our wedding back in March of 2006. Check out Travis’ blog, it’s worth your time.

John Howell = In moving to Corpus Christi in 2005, John became one of my first real guy friends in this town. His passion and zest for the church was evident in our talk. My only regret before his move in March 2007 was that he we didn’t get to play golf more often (kidding)! I’m in love watching how God is slowing putting the options in front of John to head back into the ministry.
Sara Joy Proppe = Sara Joy is a great friend of the family. Corrie and I met “S.J” at camp in 2003 and Corrie became a room mate of Sara Joy’s that following fall. Sara Joy is currently serving time in Peru as an ESL teacher and bringing in new missionaries to that area to serve in that capacity. It’s very interesting to read about about her adventures. Check her site out.
Dash and Shae Connell = Meet Dash and Shae, they are another glorious example of “Camp Relationships” that have worked and beat the odds. I met Shae my first summer of camp in 2003 where she met Dash during Family Camp. These two Aggies were married the about 2 weeks after we were married, so it’s very interesting to see where their lives have taken them in conjunction to where our lives have gone. Two really great people!!!!
Tommy Brents =My “I.T.” guy. Tommy’s political and sports insight has been something that I’ve tried to bug him and be able to figure out over the last few years. This site wouldn’t be around if I couldn’t call upon him to do minor fixes. One day he’s going to send me a bill, I know it.
Jeff & Lori Loomis = My dear friend Jeff and his wife Lori, both career missionaries to Japan have a website that is exciting to check up on. Although originally a blog about their adventures and who they were ministering too, the blog over the last year has turned into photo slide show of their young son, Kade, and rightfully so!
